Getting in shape changed my life. I grew up with low self-esteem and a lack of confidence. I didn't like how I looked, I hated how I felt, and I constantly worried what others' thought of me. Getting in shape physically taught me to accept challenges as a route to growth. I grew accustomed to hard work, and it became the vessel by which I could take back control of my life. There hasn't been a day since- when I looked back. Now I enjoy pushing the limits of what I can do and coaching others to do the same. My passion is to help people get to their next best version of themselves - sustainably.

What are dane's favorite exercises?
My favorite exercises are for sure squats and pull ups.
Squats:
I think the mental challenge of squatting is one that is easily overcome, but highly rewarding. Also your legs are the base of your body, so, training them 1-2 times per week is a MUST for me. Having strong legs is key for injury prevention as well.
Pull-ups:
Getting clients to their first pull-up is such a rewarding experience for everyone involved. If you've never done one, don't give up on that goal. It takes time, but you can get there relatively quickly and enjoy the process along the way. I love them now mainly because I couldn't do them for so many years.
